About Me

I design systems that turn information into coordinated action, whether the system is an organization or a machine.

My approach is subtractive systems engineering: understand how information, incentives, software, and real-world constraints interact; find the bottlenecks and leverage points; then remove friction until the system can observe, decide, and act reliably. Preserve the complexity reality requires. Remove the complexity it does not.

I interned at Google at 21 and founded FZF the following year. I bootstrapped it from two co-founders to a team of ten, serving clients across several countries. Today, FZF is a specialist software company serving staffing firms across the U.S. and Canada.

Staffing back offices are complex human-in-the-loop systems. Critical work moves across recruiters, workers, clients, ATSs, VMSs, payroll platforms, documents, and inboxes. FZF maps those flows, finds where coordination breaks down, and builds the integration and intelligence layer that closes the loop.

The same discipline draws me toward physical AI, where perception and control loops must run small, fast, and faithfully on real hardware. My background spans low-level systems, production software and cloud infrastructure, simulation, classical control, and reinforcement learning.

Outside of work, I enjoy rock climbing, chess, and language learning.
